GGG Studio ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Drift Radio application for Android TV (the "App"). This page explains what the App does and does not do with your information.
None. We operate no servers and receive no data about you. The App contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, and no crash-reporting SDK.
The following is stored locally on your device and never leaves it:
Uninstalling the App deletes all of it.
The App uses Radio-Browser, a community-maintained open database, to obtain station listings, search and categories. Requests to that service necessarily include your IP address (as with any network request) and a User-Agent string identifying the App.
When you start playing a station, the App reports a single anonymous play count to that service, following its documented conventions — this is how station popularity rankings are maintained. The report contains no personally identifiable information.
During playback the App connects directly to the stream URL of the station you selected. These servers are operated by the individual broadcasters or their providers, are outside our control, and will see your IP address. Each broadcaster may have its own privacy policy.
Station logos are loaded from URLs supplied by the stations themselves. Those hosts will likewise see your IP address.
The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Drift Radio is a player. It neither produces nor hosts any audio content — all streams are provided and operated by third-party broadcasters. If you are a broadcaster and do not wish your stream to appear in the App, please contact us at the address below, or request removal directly from the Radio-Browser database.
